Mission statement

The primary purpose of Sacred Ground Ministries is to support and dispatch Christian Evangelists to villages in Alaska and other nations as requested. This ministry will promote and encourage Christian standards of personal excellence through music, teaching, preaching, and planting Christian fellowships. Funds will be raised  by the following: fund raising revivals, donations, personal sponsorship, etc. The goals of Sacred Ground Ministries are to:

 

1.      Reach villages where there is no evangelistic work.

2.      Raise up leadership and to follow-up initial visits.

3.      Develop a rapport with the church denomination's already established in the village that we are visiting and to be servants and helpers to those churches.

My name is Gary Simple. I became an Evangelist in 1994. I traveled across Alaska visiting many areas. My travels have lead me into the Nana Region, Tok Junction, Anchorage, Yukon Flats, North Slope, Fairbanks, Bethel, Yukon River Villages and Canada. When I began, traveling was very difficult because of the lack of support. I would travel from village to village only by the grace of GOD.

GOD gave me a very vivid vision of the ministry that he would have for me. GOD showed me that the majority of my funding would come from Caucasian brothers and sisters. Believing that GOD would bless the funding for the ministry, I was lead to start a non-profit corporation. I would be totally accountable for the funds contributed to the ministry.

In 1999 I was praying for a ministry title, this is when I decided to call the ministry Sacred Ground Ministries. I believe that name was GOD given. AMEN. We worked on the corporation for an entire year. By the end of 2000 we were ready to spread the word of GOD through the ministry. Praise GOD!

Since the beginning we have started a fellowship in all of the villages we have traveled to. We have also started fellowships in the lower 48 and in the Philippines. My Anglo brothers and sisters in the LORD bless me. My vision from the LORD has come to past. My GOD has given me the vision. I have moved in faith with the vision. My Anglo brothers and sisters have supported Sacred Ground Ministries. Praise GOD!

PRAYER OF ACCEPTANCE

The salvation prayer should be prayed like this:

Dear Lord Jesus, I am a sinner and cannot save myself. I believe that you died for my sins. Right now, I am asking You to come into my heart and life and be my own personal Savior and give me everlasting life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Today, _______________ 2006, I, _________________ received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and Lord. I base my salvation on God's promise in John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. This day is called my "spiritual birthday" because I have become a child of God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
